Explain the significance of the title "The Shel and the Glasses".

The title alludes to the ongoing battle for power in the novel. The conch shell had symbolized power and order....... but by Cgpter 10 it means nothing. On the other hand, Piggy's glasses hold the power of making fire. Thus, for Jack, having them in his possession gives him the upper hand.
