Evil in people

Question

In the Lord of the Flies William Golding suggests that evil is present within us all. Do you agree or disagree? Why?

agree, but some people have less of it than others/it is way below the surface on some (ralph), and closer to the surface on others, (Jack).

I agree, civilization is the protection from that evil. But the evil is bigger within some than others. Roger is much eviler than Ralph for instance

I don't think the kids are evil other than maybe jack because he's so mean.

I say we ALL have evil within us.
