Do you think piggy would be more or less helpful if the others didn't put him down or leave him out?

In my opinion, Piggy beat the odds and was extremely helpful, regardless of the fact that others put him down. Piggy was very intelligent, and he had a lot of knowledge to share with the others. He basically spoke through Ralph, but in times of need, he spoke up for himself and the others.
