Lord of the Flies

After Ralph wounds the pig with his spear, the boys begin to re-enact the scene, with Robert as the "pig". When the "game" loses it's "playfulness", what might Golding be foreshadowing?

Golding is foreshadowing how easy it will become to hurt and kill "weaker" boys on the island. Jack suggests that they use littluns to hunt and kill. the horror of his statement is that he is not entirely joking.
