When Josie and Jacob go out, they both seem to have cultural issues. Josie comments on Jacob's Australian heritage, something that causes him to feel insulted. He then attacks Josie and tells her if she's that confused and has a problem with it..... she should simply go back to her own country. I don't think Jacob understands the racial slurs that have molded Josie's outlook and feelings. They'll need to open up and show acceptance.
