What are the problems/challenges of Meg?

How did she solve it?

I suppose Meg's main problem would be greed and envy. She covets other people's things. Meg is perhaps the only sister who remembers when the family was wealthy. Meg seems fixated on the wealth of other girls like Sallie Gardiner and the Moffat girls. It isn't until later on in the story that Meg learns the value of what is real, the simple things in life and hard work.
