Why do you think in the salutation, Dr. King address his readers as “My Dear Fellow Clergymen

King was addressing his letter to white clergy who were doing little to help the cause of black equality. I think that, implicit in his statement, King was reminding white clergy that they are seen as equal in the eyes of God and should be helping him.
