Reread the first paragraph on page 26. What do you think the author is trying tosuggest about those who are rich vs. those who are poor?

The author is suggesting the distinct differences in the way social classes are treated. From the text, we can infer that the rich are given preferential treatment..... and that the poor are overlooked.
