Describe Vonnegut's America, are thee positive aspects of this society? What is lacking?

I'd have to argue that there are no positive aspects, but other people might cite the following three things as positive attributes;

1) everyone is equal

2) the gifted are not applauded; they are handicapped

3) people cannot remember sadness

This type of society lacks individuality, the ability to better oneself, the ability to excel, and the ability to feel emotion.
