Why does Sir Henry want to travel to Kukuanaland?

Sir Henry wants to travel to Kukuanaland in order to rescue his brother Neville. He enlists Quatermain's help to locate King Solomon's Mines. His desire to find his brother is so great that he offers both Quatermain and Captain Good his share of the diamonds from King Solomon's Mines if only he can locate Neville.
