King Lear

In King Lear how is Justice a key requirement for the civilized life?

Please provide scenes and acts thank you.

Justice has to be seen through sober eyes and sound judgment. Lear certainly missed out on these traits. He forsook the only daughter that gave him the justice of telling him the truth and punished anyone who took her side. Finally Lear paid heavily for his lack of vision (see, double meaning!). We must ask ourselves if his demise was justice served or is there such a thing as redemption?
