How does Mrs. Mallard's admission that often she had not loved her husband affect your evaluation of her character?

The fact that Mrs. Mallard admitted that she didn't love her husband doesn't affect my evaluation of her character at all. Marriages were often arranged, and the choice one made in a husband or wife often had nothing to do with emotions.
