What makes Brutus a powerful person how does this relate to how he is a tragic hero?

Brutus' power can be found in his loyalty, dignity, and caring. He is a top rate military leader, he's smart, and he is an idealist. Unfortunately, his idealism is also one of his biggest flaws, and it leads him into poor decisions that he cannot live with. His intentions are good..... even noble, but that same self-righteousness and innate trust in humanity serve no one.
