When Antony speaks at Caesar's funeral we become well aware of his talents in leadership.... in inspiring men to follow him into battle. Brutus doesn't expect Antony's appeal to the people, his ability to draw them in. He is a talented orator, but his machinations..... making note of Caesar's body, flattering those present, and making a genuine, moving appeal to the crowd are larger than life.
