Julius Caesar Act II Sc I Rome, Brutus' garden

How does Brutus persuade Cassius not to kill Mark Antony? This was a tactical error, and Cassius knew it, but why was he will to make it?

Brutus does not approve of Cassius' plan to kill Antony because two murders will be perceived as too bloody. Overstating their point will leave them without a chance of garnering public support.
