How does Calphurnia's dream foreshadow events?

She dreams that his statue at the senate was bleeding profusely. In addition to that many prominent Romans bathed in the blood, smiling as they did so. This will forshadow that Caesar will be killed at the base of this statue and that members of the senate will be the ones to do the assasinating. She begs him to stay home, but Decius convinces him to go.
