After Caesar's assassination, Mark Antony sends a Servant to Brutus pledging his allegiance with Brutus and "will follow the fortunes and affairs of noble Brutus" (act 3 SC.1). Mark Antony also wants an explanation from the conspirators for killing Caesar. In the end Mark Antony will betray Brutus's alliance in his famous oratory, "Friends Romans, Countrymen...."
