on chapter 4 page 80 it says although johnny might have been more cordially recieved by Merchant Lyte, he was satisfied enough by his welcome to build up air castles. he really knew they were air castles, not even took by his imagination. whats it mean

i dont understand what it means to build up air castles anyone get it or what it means somewhat

I think air castles refers to Lyte's fantasy for the future.
