Johnny Tremain

In chapter 1. Explain why is it that Johnny Tremain is the boss of the attic even though he is younger and smaller that the other apprentice, Dove.

I think because he was a better silversmith than Dove. But I think this is not the answer, can someone please help :)

That would be the answer. Johnny is more skilled, and thus is given more authority.
