i have an essay question on the three marriage proposals in jane eyre (chapter 23, chapter 37 and the ones with St John Rivers), the question asks how Charlotte Bronte makes us as a reader feel uncomfortable and worried about Jane in the first 2 but in the last one it gives us a happy ending. it also asks to compare and contrast the three marriage proposals.I REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE!!! lol thankyouu xx

I think Bronte wants that marriage must be keep the independance for Jane and must be equal with her husband.when she has wealth,love and she will a wife not a misstress she accepts to marry rochester
