Jane Eyre

In chapter 19, Rochester questions Jane's loyalty. What are her responses and how might this be an example of the foreshadowing for the next section of the novel?

I believe Rochester's belief in Jane's loyalty foreshadows his trust in exposing Grace Poole and helping Mason after he is attacked. Rochester trusts Jane to this knowledge, but he does not trust her enough to divuldge the entire truth. He asks her if she'd leave him.... or stand by him. This foreshadows Jane's leaving Thornfield Hall.
