Jane Eyre

Critically comment on jane's experience at lowood along with gateshead with reference to the following view.

i would not now have exchanged lowood with all it privations for gateshead and its daily luxuries

This is a pretty broad question for this space. Even though Jane is hungry at Lowood and publicly scolded by Mr. Brocklehurst, at least Lowood is better than the cruelty she faced at her Aunt's house at Gateshed. In Lowood she has some stability and is getting an education; at lowood she is becoming somebody.
