does anyone know where I can read some of these essays online for free? I love literature and books, but I can't just read them, I need to read discussion and insight too. Since I'm not in school anymore, I would love to know how to have access to the full essays if its possible. Thanks.

What does the narrator mean by saying that he is an “invisible man”? How does Ellison use the metaphor of “invisibility” in the Prologue? Do you believe invisibility is an appropriate metaphor for the black experience? Why or why not?
