What was the positive sign Why didn’t Helen want either Paris or Menelaus to suffer?

Helen feels a great deal of guilt for being the cause of the Trojan War. She does not want anyone to suffer anymore; she loves Paris and hates Menelaus. Nevertheless, she wants everyone simply to go home and quit fighting so she does not want them to battle or get hurt.
