Both were written in poetic form, with a specific rhythm and rhyme. However, what the modern reader understands depends on the translation one reads. Some modern translations are prose which completely differs from the original. Both are extremely descriptive; perhaps the Iliad is a bit more warlike and martial.

Really thanks .What do Achilleus and Hector represent ?

Achilles is the greatest Greek warrior. Hector is a prince of Troy and is the greatest Trojan warrior.

Very clear answer thanks :)
