How does the poet express her opinion on freedom in the poem ' I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings ' ?

Angelou's poem speaks to the fact that she can be free.... not simply a caged bird fighting against the bars that keep her imprisoned. It's a poem about anger and hope.... it's a poem about what "can" be attained.
