I, Claudius Forum

I really liked this book - my entire class hated it though. We first read the book and then watched the movie after discussing it. The plot is a little slow moving, but there is a lot of really good action when it actually occurs. Go Claudius!

I am also a huge fan of "I, Claudius" (that's why it was so much fun to write a Classic Note for it). The book might seem to be slow moving when compared to more recent novels, but you just can't beat the suspense and intrigue in Graves' text. Plus, you get to brush up on your Roman history at the same time!
