I Am Malala

Why did the Taliban fear such a young girl? Would Malala have been able to tell her story if she stayed in Pakistan? How was Malala's relationship with her mother different than the one she has with her father?

What are some quotes and page numbers to support this?

The Taliban didn't fear the girl, they feared her idealism, as well as her lack of fear in standing up to them. Sometimes it only takes one voice to raise the voices of the masses..... Malala had that kind of influence.

As to the second part of your question, the answer would be no. She would not have been allowed to share her story if she'd stayed in Pakistan.
