How would your sense of these people change had the author employed other details- how they look, what they wear, what they do for a living?

This question calls for your opinion, there is no right or wrong answer. In my opinion, many people make judgments based upon appearances. People gravitate toward good looking, well dressed, professional people. Some people are also known to have preconceived notions about those who work in lesser paying jobs and wear clothing purchased from mass marketers or second hand clothing stores. My opinion of the people described wouldn't change, as the author describes the beautifully. She describes the people..... who they are, their circumstances. We are given all the information we need.
