Esperanza makes a wish to leave the funeral for Lucy and Rachel's dead baby sister. She feels awkward and wants to leave. One of the women that asked her to make a wish senses what Esperanza had wished for. She tells Esperanza to say goodbye to the others before she can leave. Esperanza feels guilty about her wish.
