How does Esperanza grapple with her aunt's death? What questions does she ask, and what conclusions does she come to?

Esperanza grapples more with the way her aunt dies than anything else. She wonders if her aunt was ashamed or embarrassed because she lingered so long. She also speaks about the children who had to take on their mother's role in the home.... and the uncle who'd been without a wife for so long.
