House on mango street

Like "Rafaela who drinks coconut & papaya juice on thursday," the title of the story is long and filled with details. What do these and other titles in the book convey about the people and the life surrounding esperanza? What kind of tone do these longer titles set for the story?what do you suggests about esperanza character

Esperanza's life is formed around words, and in turn, she shares her world in a way that we can all relate. The long chapter titles illuminate the people she talks about..... we come to feel we know them. In this way, Esperanza makes us feel as if we have a united interest in learning how it all works out. The language is entertaining and informative..... it keeps us reading.
