Why does the author use two different perspectives in Henry?

I;m not sure what you mean. The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet is narrated in the third person. This type of narration allows the author to focus on Henry, but it doesn't limit the story, as we are still able to understand the backgrounds and perspectives of the other characters.
