Woe

a feeling of deep despair caused by various problems

Shilling

a coin used in Britain and which had little value

Bawdy play

a play which was considered dirty, a play which included sexual content or sexual allusions

Motley

a group of people of objects which is not uniform; made out of various different pieces

Ague

a type of illness in which the person is affected by fever among other symptoms

Beheld

to look at someone with great admiration and respect, often used in relation with royalties and people who hold a great deal of power

Clung

to hold on tightly to someone or something, often seen as an act of desperation

Pomp

refers to an event which is presented into an excessive splendid display which is often seen as being over the top

Lustre

a soft glow which is described as having fallen on a person or object

Durst wag

dare to move in a rapid way
