George, Brack and Eilert, it seems all the men drooling over Hedda. what was the reason ??

I don't know if they are drooling over her or just excited that Hedda seems a free spirit with the opposite sex. There is always a sense that, although married, she is open to the company of other men. This seems rather tantalizing, especially for the time period.
