Marlow as a representative of his age and of his class

I'm suppose to discuss this in my essay.

Discuss Marlow as a representative of his age (Victorian) and of his class.

I need it by tomorrow!

Any input is great!!

Marlow is a middle age seaman. He, however, was not representative of his class because he had no roots. Seamen had roots, either at home or on a ship. Marlow was a wanderer. He wanted to access inaccessible places. He was one of the few Europeans who wanted to venture into the Congo, the heart of darkness. Sorry this is like a year late but it might help someone.
