Heart of Darkness

If a person has good intentions about his work, does it matter if the work turns out to harm to other people?

If you are directly referring to the novel "Heart of Darkness" for this question, I'd have to ask who you're taking about...... the Company? Kurtz? Marlow? Imperialism itself? There are very few redeeming qualities when weighing out the actions and effects of Imperialism on the natives. In fact, the natives aren't even portrayed as human.

Thanks so much!!
