Does Conrad agree with Marlow's feelings toward the Belgian imperial project?

I think we see Conrad's opinions through the character of Marlow. It becomes evident that Marlow is less than impressed with Belgium's imperialist desires. By the end of the book Marlow is horrified by them. Marlow always struck me as representing Conrad's own beliefs.
