Are you referring to Brian's altercation with the porcupine? If so, he might have acted with a little less haste. His reaction, one that most of us would have, was to strike out without forethought. Considering his circumstances and ascertaining the immediate danger might have been a better choice, but he was acting from instinct.... just like most of us would.
