why is mr bounderby considered a hypocrit?

Sounderby's entire life is a lie; he has made up much of his past which is only discoverede near the end of the novel. He marries Louisa simply to acquire her as another possession. He is completely obnoxious, loud and annoying, and the novel is fairly straightforward about the negative complexion of his character.
