In the chapter called “Sissy’s Story,” Dickens carefully represents the compassion of Sissy in relation to the “facts” of her education. What is his point?

Gradgrind's methos of education incolves facts and facts only; children are to be kept from love, emotion, compassion, ect., a great example being the disconnection of his own children. He sees Sissy's education as having been lax and blames her innate compassion on the fact she's never been educated, especially in the Gradgrind Method.
