Hamlet is the thinking man's hero. This is ironic considering indecision is Hamlet's tragic flaw. Hamlet could have taken care of his murdering uncle much earlier in the play. Instead of springing into action, Hamlet ruminates about the evil nature of man consuming him with just a few drops of "evil dram". Then Hamlet ruminates about the nature of evil and the minute details that define evil. Will Hamlet ever stop thinking? If Hamlet were his foil young Fortinbras, he would have killed and buried Claudius by now, Instead, Hamlet indulges in his tragic flaw of over thinking and analyzing things.
