Claudius is sending Hamlet to England. He will send a message to the king of England to kill Hamlet.

Polonius wants Hamlet to meet mother privatly.THere, mother will speak firmly to her son. Polonius will, as usual, eavesdrop behind the curtains and ascertain Hamlet's madness.
