Hamlet

The Serpent

Act I Scene V

Now, Hamlet, hear.
'tis given out that, sleeping in mine orchard,

A serpent stung me. So the whole ear of Denmark
Is by a forged process of my death
Rankly abused. But know, thou noble youth,
The serpent that did sting thy father's life
Now wears his crown

I'm not sure what your question is, the the "serpent" refers to Claudius. In context, the serpent can be seen as the "evil one", an allusion to the Biblical serpent in the garden of Eden.... the Devil.
