. What is Hamlet's conflict over the Ghost's existence? Why does he continue to doubt the "honesty" of the Ghost even after Claudius confesses his guilt?

The ghost asks Hamlet to avenge his murder at the hands of Claudius. Hamlet is a thinker and a philosopher. He is captivated by the thought of the afterlife and believes his dead father is reaching to him. Hamlet considers thr ghost has taken a "pleasing shape" in order to damn him. Hamlet, however, is not fully convinced that it is an "honest" ghost until after the play within the play.
