what does hamlet mean when he states: why, then 'tis none to you: for there is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so: to me it is a prison?

Hamlet is referring to his belief that nothing is ever good or bad, hot or cold....... it's all what you make it or how you see it. For him, Denmark is a prison.
