Hamlet

HELP ME ON HAMLET!

While hamlet is about the pursuit of revenge, it is more deeply about the pursuit of truth.

Agree or disagree and why not ?

I think much of the play is about the pursuit of truth. Unlike Hamlet's foil, Young Fortinbras who would have avenged right away, Hamlet is obsessed with finding out the truth about his uncle Claudius. The ghost's word isn't enough. Hamlet goes through elaborate plans that involve a lot of drama to find the truth. Hamlet's final revenge is actually quite arbitrary only happening after his mother dies from the poisoned cup and Laertes tries to kill him.
