Who is Gulliver

Gullliver is a physician who finds that working as a ship's surgeon is more profitable and helps him support his family in better fashion. He is the main character in the work and has many adventures as he travels around the world. He meets many people whose faults are indicative of the faults of most people; their faults are used by the author to indicate many of the faults that are typical of humans.
