The two countries go to war over the breaking of eggs.... or which side of the egg is appropriate to break. When people were exiled from Lilliput for refusing to change their ways, they were welcomed by the rulers of Blefescu. Over time, the population of exiles grew so large that they joined together to attack Lilliput in rebellion.
