Define the oddities of the flying island.

The island itself is made up of a perfect circle and spans 10,000 acres. It can only move directly above the surface of Balnibarbi but no further. It also moves up and down and proves very handy in subduing problems below.... a lack of sun and rain is detrimental when affected.
